Praying for each other

Hi my dear friends, I am sorry for being away for a long time. I hope you all missed me. I missed you and i missed sharing my ideas with you too.

Today i want to share with you on why it is very important to pray for each other. I was going through some problems. I am actually very prayerful but this time around i let my worries took over my prayerful ways.

Instead of me to pray over my problems, i was only thinking and thinking and thinking about them without making no attempt to ask God's favour. I didn't know my very good friend was praying for me.

All of a sudden i felt God's presence in my life. I told my friend about it , saying, God has done something for me even though i didn't pray about it and i am shocked on how it happened. she laughed and said, then God listened to my prayers because i was praying for you. WOW, i said. So you see why it is important to pray for each other? Let us see what the bible says about praying for ourselves.

James 5:16 "Therefore confess your sins to one another and pray for one another that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working".

So you see, we need to love one another, confess to one another and also pray for one another so that when we pray our prayers will be heard and answered in Jesus name Amen!

Again  Matthew 18: 19 says,"if two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by my Father in Heaven".
This is why i always say it is very good to have a prayer partner. This partner could be your wife or your husband. It could be your work colleague or your class mate. It could be you mother or father, who ever you choose to pray with in faith God is going to answer because our Lord Jesus says so.

I pray that we are going to find a prayer partner and develop a prayerful life from now onwards. Amen!

Unconditional love

"For God so love the world that he gave His only begotten Son ..." ( John 3:16).  God loves us unconditionally. He cares for the poor, the rich, the young and the old. He cares for everyone despite our faults.

 He does not expect nothing from us. All He wants is that we see Him as the only one God, our Saviour, the Creator of the universe, serve Him and obey Him, worship Him in Truth and in spirit. Amen! 

We take ourselves from this unconditional love by sticking to our ungodly manner and wayward habits.  

Those who seek God finds Him.  This is the time to work your way back to Him by reaccepting Him once again in your life and try to do His will. Nobody is perfect but we are all trying. 

He is ready to give us the required strength to move on. Amen!

Unconditional love

How do u describe unconditional love? Do we have the ability to love God unconditionally? How about loving our neighbours unconditionally or our partners unconditionally?

Mistakes and Regrets

Every time in our lives, we do mistakes.

 Have you made some mistakes in the past? How do you feel about the mistakes? Some people feel very bad about the past mistakes, some seek comfort in  them and say, we learn from our mistakes. The past is gone and the future, we will protect.

What kind of life philosophy do you have to help you let go of your past? Everybody need something to hold on. Something that gives you the strength to push on.  For some parents, it is their children, for some people it is their partners while for some too it is their new found love Christ Jesus. 
Me personally i have learnt that after my personal encounter with Christ my life has never been the same. I find it more easier to forgive others and myself. My dear, if you can not even forgive yourself, do not expect someone or God to forgive you. You need to forgive yourself and let your past go behind you.

I do not know what you did, it could be the worst of them all. Still, do not worry. Forgive yourself and seek to it that you ask God too to forgive you. Yes He will because He knows the spirit is willing but the body is weak. Matthew 26: 41. 

Do you know that we all learn from our mistakes? Some get to learn through the tougher way while some learn through the easier way. Which ever way you learnt by doing mistakes is all good. God is under control. Jeremiah 29:11 says "For i know the thoughts that i think towards you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you an extended end (future)".

Do not get depressed because of your past. Get yourself happy again, pull yourself together and move on.
Keep yourself fit( helps to lower stress), get enough sleep( 6-8h everyday), get adequate nutrition and get closer to God through reading your bible and praying everyday. (KJV) 1 Peter 2.2 says "As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk  of the Word, that he may grow thereby". 

May  God help us to let go of our past and learn from our mistakes. Amen!

Education

School

Fortunately for me i had fun when i was going to school. Do you also have fun going to school? Here are some reasons why you should take your education serious.

1. Logical Reasoning:  School will help you develop what they call common sense and sagacity. You need this to get on in life. Proverbs 3:21 N I V says "My son, do not let wisdom and understanding out of your sight. Preserve sound judgement discretion. They will be life for you and an ornament to grace your neck". Amen
2. Social Behaviour:  We meet so many people in school. People from different family backgrounds, different Social Status as well as different religion. We learn how to respect, tolerate and learn how to understand each other. We learn how to control ourselves and learn other traits that will help us in our life while growing. Galater 5:22, 23. School gives us a great opportunity to get this character traits. The more you get in contact with people the more you learn new things. 
3. Job Opportunity: School is the gate way to get any kind of job you wish for. With higher or lower education, you will definately get a high class job or a low class job. Besides the more you get updated with what is going around you, the more you get to understand the world. Read Proverbs 14: 15
4. Role Model: You would be a good role model to your kids. You will be bold to tell your children to study if you yourself are educated. Some kids will even reproach parents incase they are not educated when the parents ask them to go study. You have the chance now so use every opportunuty you have now to get yourself a certificate so that you will be the role model you ever wanted to be to your children.

May our dear Lord help us in our studies and give us the courage to face every  issue that concerns our education in Jesus's name. Amen!
